93/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS - "Very generous and textured."
90/100 | Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review
As a premium, boutique producer, Q's sales strategy has always been to focus on the top tier of our nation's white table cloth restaurants and this elite wine has long been a wine list staple in many of New Zealand's most revered dining rooms.
This is luscious single vineyard wine from the Waitaki Valley in North Otago; a dry, refreshing and textural expression. Expect layers of elegant pear and quince characters underpinned by beautifully fresh acidity. It's a style that works wonderfully as an aperitif, but is magical with food as its fine dining reputation suggests.
If you're a fan of premium South Island Pinot Gris, it's time for you to smell the coffee. The previous vintage of this premium wine was a smash hit with our pinot gris fans and the reorder rate was through the roof. Don't miss your chance to get your hands on this very special wine.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "A rather enticing bouquet with a mix of spice and ripe white fleshed, some citrus and fine lees qualities. Very generous and textured as the wine touches the palate, flavours of pears and poached apples, quince and mineral. Just off-dry with a lick of sweetness to counterbalance the warming alcohol and generous acid line. Lots of weight and satin cream touch leading to a length finish."
Bob Campbell MW writes "Ripe rock melon flavours with Royal Gala apple, pear and nectarine characters supported by gently tangy acidity. Mouth-watering wine with appealing purity and a lingering finish. Off-dry but well balanced."
The winery writes "Nice bright yellow tones with pale hues. Subtle aromas of baked apple, tropical fruit with a hint of nectarine and sweet ginger. A textural palate, balanced with a flinty acidity."
