Poggio Anima unashamedly call themselves the kings of the 'week night wine' and creating wines for 'drinking not thinking' has been the key to their success. This 2022 release sits at the soft and juicy end of the Primitivo spectrum where the focus is on upfront, friendly dark fruits with the more traditional savoury / spicy notes hovering in the background. Very easy to like.
