93/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS - "Decent weight and mouthfeel."
This wine has long been the darling of the cafes and restaurants that surround the Martinborough Square and it's so easy to see why. 100% barrel fermentation and clever winemaking has produced a rich and opulent chardonnay with layers of creamy stonefruits and spicy oak. Expect to be impressed.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "A nicely complex bouquet with scents of mineral and stone then white fleshed tree and stone fruits, a fine layer citrus leads to scents of barrel and lees complexities. Decent weight and mouthfeel, almost full-bodied with a satin texture then as the wine opens out on the palate the textures of acidity and spice increase, so too do the flavours tree fruits and citrus."
The winery writes "A rich, complex Martinborough Chardonnay showing intense ripe stone fruit flavours underpinned by subtle spicy and barrel fermentation characters, enhanced by a silky palate texture and a elegant lingering finish."
