93/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS
93/100 | Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review
There's no doubt that Neudorf feature amongst the country's finest chardonnay producers and their wines consistently receive high praise from top international critics. Tiritiri is pitched at a more accessible price point than their other releases and it's an outstanding entry-level wine.
The fruit comes from three sites in the Moutere Hills and is a study in the careful balance between fruit, oak and acid. As with all Neudorf wines, it's elegant and classy but there are plenty of generous fruit characters on the palate to keep traditional chardonnay fans happy. Another excellent offering from Neudorf.

Bob Campbell MW writes "Taut, vibrant chardonnay with pronounced oyster shell/saline, hazelnut and subtle nutty oak flavours. Impressive purity and power with good cellaring potential although it can certainly be appreciated now."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "A bouquet and palate filled fresh citrus and mineral complexities, ripe apple and white peach and a mix of spice and nut from barrel fermentation. Salivating, saline, crisp and dry, a medium+ (ish) weighted wine with taut youthful energy, palate squeeze and low impacts from oak. A lovely aperitif expression, perfect with baked fish or seafood pasta dishes."
The winery writes "Classic but not old fashioned. This delicious chardonnay walks a tightrope of fruit, minerality, oak and acidity."
