Founded in 1698, Lucien Albrecht vines and fruits have been nurtured for over 300 years to create truly rich and rewarding wines that reflect the renowned terroirs of the Orschwihr vineyard. Lightly golden in the glass, the wine has a bouquet that brims with spicy pear, apricot, honey suckle and sweet citrus - with some baking spice and clove nuances adding an exotic layer. On the palate this is typical Alsace Pinot Gris with rounded mouthfeel, opulence and smokiness. Perfect as an aperitif, this would be a lovely partner to a deli-platter, or you could serve with soft white cheeses drizzled with honey. Well worth a try!

The winery writes "The nose is complex and reveals aromas of apricot, hazelnut, and toast. The palate is supple and gourmand with a great balance on yellow fruit notes."
