91/100 | James Suckling
Lavau Gigondas is a lovely blend of 50% grenache, 40% syrah and 10% mourvedre showcasing spicy aromas of nutmeg and pepper with flavours of blackcurrants and raspberries, typical of the Rhone appellation. Vuluptuous with superb length, this is a great wine to pair with beef stews or casseroles. Simply delicious.

James Suckling writes "Raspberries, plums, thyme, orange peel and some peppered meat on the nose. It's full-bodied with ripe tannins and a meaty, fleshy palate. Very typical for the appellation."
