Another stunner produced by John Duval - one of the most highly regarded Australian winemakers of his era. John Duval was head winemaker for Penfolds for 12 years and was responsible for Grange and all of Penfolds other exalted releases during that time. In 1991, and again in 2000, he was named Red Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine Challenge held annually in London. A man with Duval's legendary credentials will only offer exceptional wines under his own name and Plexus is always a gem of a wine.

The winery writes "Lifted aromatics with vibrant black fruits of cherry, blackberry and mulberry with underlying notes of cinnamon, woodsy spice and a hint of smokey oak. Generous layers of black and red fruits, balanced with elegant savoury spice and fine, velvety tannins, bright acidity ensuring it finishes long and pure."
