A lovely example of full-bodied Montepulciano selected by John Kirwan to be rebranded under his very reliable JK 14 label. There's lots going on here. Good palate weight blends with savoury, dark red berry-fruit flavours. Well made - and a mile ahead of the generic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo that is normally sold in New Zealand.
