92/100 | Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review
Hopesgrove is the Paki Paki hillside vineyard venture of Pieter Koopman and the superb wines he produces are a testament to this special piece of dirt and Pieter's undoubted winemaking prowess. With citrus and stonefruit aromas, this elegant wine is a lovely example of quality Hawke's Bay Chardonnay. An impressive 92 points from renowned Master of Wine, Bob Campbell, says it all - you simply can't go wrong here.

The winery writes "Bright and pure aromas of melon, stone fruit and citrus, interwoven with soft butter, toasty oak and cashew. Full bodied, with an elegant mouthfeel elevated by a soft buttery flow and a textural phenolic line. The fruit has concentration and intensity, compliment the toasty oak details with a long finish. Drink now until 2027."
