A household luxury brand, Hennessy is the Louis Vuitton of the spirits world, though they don’t limit supply - they’re responsible for producing over 40% of the world’s cognac supply. Similar to Champagne, all Cognacs are made in - wait for it - Cognac, which is found in France’s south-west. VS stands for ‘very special’, to achieve a VS grading a cognac’s youngest blend must be at least 2 years old.

Tasting Notes
Hennessy V.S. Cognac is very bold and opens with sweet wood and nutty fragrances to remind you that it is in the room. The palate is warm and filled with grape, citrus, and apple notes, along with a considerable amount of wood, which is not overpowering but eminently pleasing. The medium-length finish is marked with a spice that has a slight heat and leads into a lingering melt of wood and almonds.
