FIVE STARS, BEST BUY & RANKED #3 IN CUISINE'S 2018 TASTING OF NZ SPARKLINGS
FIVE STARS 93/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
92/100 | Bob Campbell MW
17.5/20 | Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
This is quality Kiwi fizz at an affordable price and a creditable Top 3 / Best Buy ranking in Cuisine makes it unavoidable value. Careful blending and extended ageing of the base wines has put a whole lot of flavour in the bottle and this elegant, crisp sparkling has the biscuity / brioche characters normally seen in much more expensive options. Highly recommended.

The Cuisine judges write "Biscuity aromas open up to reveal vibrant and juicy lemon-lime fruit . That palate is very well integrated with lightly roasted nut flavours and a fine, flinty finish. A terrific aperitif style"
Bob Campbell MW writes "A blend of chardonnay and pinot noir. Light, ethereal sparkling wine in a dry, but not austere, style with refreshing, fruity acidity. Subtle vanilla and citrus flavours. A deliciously drinkable fizz."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "It's beautifully fruited and delightfully inviting on the nose showing Gala apple, rockmelon, lemon pith and white floral characters with a hint of yeasty complexity. The palate is finely textured and flowing with excellent vibrancy and persistency, leading to a lingering refreshing finish. Wonderfully composed and elegantly expressed."
