Domaine Rewa was born as an amalgamation of passions for esteemed pottery maker, Yannick, and wife Phillipa. Over the past decade, Domaine Rewa has undergone fine-tuning to developed unique techniques that creates the best possible wines to reflect the pristine vineyards. We fell in love with these wines when we tried them, and we know you'll love them too.
This pinot noir is a slice of Southern France in Central Otago with plenty of charm and finesse. Aromas of cherries, boysenberries and licorice invite you to a tannic and savoury palate feel. A good day to be a fan of Central Otago Pinot.

Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews writes "Bright, medium ruby-red with a deep tone, youthful, even colour throughout. The bouquet is full, but restraint; beautiful fragrances of black cherries, blackberries entwined with the scent of violets in a field of thyme alongside a dusting of baking spices in the air. Medium-bodied, pure and fresh flavours of black cherries and blackberries carries a crisp acid line; unfolding layers of violet fragrance, thyme and a kick of black pepper and nutmeg spices. The mouthfeel has weight and power, a strong presence of fine-grained tannin extraction, contribute to a silky and elegant tannin structure. A note of liquorice melded with herbs and spices lingers to a long and sustained finish. This Pinot Noir has power and elegance, exhibiting ripened black fruit with balanced acidity, along with violet, herbs and spices nuances with a silky and structured tannin extraction. Will reward with moderate-term ageing."
David Walker Bell, Wine Folio writes "A vivid dark burgundy colour in the glass. Fresh and juicy aromatics of black cherry, mushroom, olive, boysenberry and liquorice merge into crushed herbs and rose petal florals. Medium bodied and elegant into the palate, with a clean purity of plush fruit framed by oak and carried on a minerally acidity. All well integrated – rounded and velvetty. The tannins creep in and show a little grip and sinew. An ‘old world meets new world’ expression that is well crafted and shows a long finish of real finesse."
