Crafted from fruit from the famed Chalk Ridge Vineyard on the outskirts of Havelock North (just down the road from us here at Advintage), this robust syrah has been a consistent performer over the years. The 2019 is another captivating example of modern Hawke's Bay winemaking that is loaded with dark savoury fruits, gentle spices and excellent persistence. It has a hint of Viognier (1.27%) to give it a bit of extra texture and complexity and is fantastic buying at our superdeal price.

The winery writes "A beautifully structured wine. Medium to full bodied with silken tannins and great length. The fruit in the mid palate lasts and lasts."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Matured and ready with a bouquet and palate of cherry and raspberry fruit flavours, some clay and spice layers. A dry wine with a fine tannins texture, fruit flavours mirror the bouquet and the acid line holds all the taste and texture elements in place."
