Gary Walsh, The Wine Front writes "Red fruit, tobacco and black olive, light spice and cedar oak. It’s quite dry and firm, some chalky grip to tannin, lots of savoury stuff in with red fruit and plum, with a pippy crunch to the finish."
Bob Campbell MW writes "Supple, moderately intense red with plum, cherry/berry, and a suggestion of fresh herb flavours. Still quite fresh but very drinkable with the potential to develop over the next five or six years."
The winery writes "Bright garnet red with a crimson hue. Charming blue and red fruits vaunt the bouquet, with subtle brioche notes and black liquorice underneath. A warming core with plush blue fruits drives immediate deliciousness, but the dense tannin structure and fresh acid ensure a rewarding future."
