Calmel & Joseph have a fast growing reputation for producing quality wines from the heart of the Languedoc-Roussillon region.  This 2022 chardonnay displays all the hallmark qualities of good southern French Chardonnay - offering freshness and elegance in a well-rounded, medium-bodied palate that brims with creamy mouthfeel.  We fully expect this lovely wine to be a smash hit with The Advintage Chardonnay Faithful.

The grapes for this wine were harvested in two separate batches - the first with the aim of retaining freshness, and the second two weeks later to maximise richness and concentration. 30% of the wine was matured in oak barrels for three months, and the result is a chardonnay with the creaminess, richness and weight that we all know and love.
