Quality estate grown Hawkes Bay Syrah that has been finely crafted for the Bostock family by celebrated winemaker Rod McDonald. This is an excellent example of a top flight winemaker stepping up in a difficult Hawkes Bay vintage. The 2019 Bostock Syrah sits somewhere in the middle between the masculine and feminine styles of Hawkes Bay Syrah with a pretty floral nose and spicy characters in the plum and dark red fruit spectrum. Well handled tannins provide a clean finish and plenty of promise should you choose to lay this wine down.
