Opulent barrel-fermented chardonnay from one of our favourite Hawke's Bay producers. Vinted from 100% Gimblett Gravels fruit this is lush, textural wine with powerful stonefruit and lemon cream characters and perfectly balanced fresh acidity.
This is reserve wine in every sense. Already approachable in it's youth, the Track Chardonnay has a proven ability to age, and will develop beautifully with time.

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Gracefully rich yet firmly structured, the wine shows white flesh nectarine, lemon pith, roasted cashew, flint and savoury pastry aromas, followed by a concentrated palate offering excellent depth and focus. Superbly structured by bright acidity, finishing impressively long and linear."
The winery writes "The nose is gorgeous with grapefruit, ripe melon, and orange with a lovely flinty character. On the palate the wine is fresh and flavoursome with remarkable length. This is a complex wine with lovely subtle oak, stone fruit, and flint coalescing nicely."
