94/100 | Erin Larkin
93/100 | Christina Pickard
This is the inaugural release of Kotinga Pinot Noir that is vinted in a completely different style to Ata Rangi's other single vineyard pinots. Bright fruit aromas of cherry, red currant and plum set the scene on the nose. The palate leads with a flourish of supple tannins uplifted with crunchy acidity and flavours of grapefruit and juniper. World class wine that is a truly unique expression of Ata Rangi's Martinborough soils that will reward cellaring.

Bob Campbell MW writes "Ripe and concentrated wine that is distinctively different to the other single-vineyard pinots with less savoury influence and more pronounced fruit with a backbone of sweet, soft tannins. Brilliant wine."
James Suckling writes "Perfumed aromas of sliced strawberries, grated nutmeg, milk chocolate, wild thyme, voilet and orange peel. Medium to full bodied with silky, textured tannins that are soaked in beautifully fresh red fruit and berries. Floral and nuanced on the palate with subtle concentration and length. A beautiful wine."
