The new bottle and livery for this exciting small batch chenin promises much and the palate delivers with a burst of tangy, medium-dry tropical fruit flavours with an obvious mineral thread and a finish that sings with fresh acidity. Though certainly enjoyable now, this wine will come into its own in 2-3 years when that acidity has settled and the lemon honey aspects of good chenin blanc start to shine through. Highly recommended.

Winemaker, Simon Waghorn writes "I’ve made this wine dry but with a hint of residual sugar to balance the zippiness from the natural acidity of the fruit. I have preserved the charming fruit flavour by fermenting in neutral stainless vessels. The wine has more retained spritziness from the fermentation, which adds to the vivacity in the glass. It is a great drinking style, ready to go for spring and summer!"
