Seriously though, this two time World's Best Rye Whiskey is well deserving of its many accolades, with a distinctive layered palate of spiced custard, ginger, stone fruit and baked apple pie and a lingering fresh herbal finish.
This comes courtesy of Archie Rose's preference for malted rye, as opposed to the more commonly used unmalted sort, and it goes without saying, all the rye is Australian grown.
All in all, a great representative of the quality of distilling from the Sydney based Archie Rose, Australia's most awarded distillery, and a perfect addition to your whisky collection, small or large.

The sweet and savoury nose has hints of sherbet, vanilla eclairs, apricots, rice pudding, and muesli, with notes of cola, creaming soda, and toffee developing over time. The palate is reminiscent of a caramel peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream, while the finish is a subtle blend of caraway seed and sweet spices, balanced with a touch of salinity.
