All the Ara wines have impressed us but our team (and a large number of our customers) have become smitten with this plush and textural Marlborough Pinot Gris. The Ara range falls under the wider Giesen stable of wines and we think this 2023 gris is the standout in their current line up. It's a full bodied style with weight and presence in the mouth and a palate that overflows with spicy pear and ripe citrus flavours. The initial taste has some fruit sweetness but the fresh tangy finish balances that perfectly and the flavours go on and on.

Wish I could give it more stars
We love this Pinot Gris! So delicious. It was out of stock and we were very disappointed in ourselves for not buying more. Glad you've gotten it back!
