94/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS
4.5 STARS | Michael Cooper
Excellent Hawke's Bay Methode from a top producer. This is a broadly flavoured wine with depth and texture. It's full of lovely toasty brioche and crisp citrus characters. Highly recommended.

The winery writes "Our Cumulus Méthode Traditionelle Blanc de Blancs with zero dosage, is a return to natural authenticity. Elegantly dry in style it exhibits a fine and persistent bead, with creamy brioche aromas from malolactic fermentation and time on yeast lees in the bottle. Fruit sweetness balanced with natural acidity and green apple freshness create a mouth watering and lingering finish."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "An enticing bouquet with intensity and familiarity, a core of autolysis and bottle development, scents of white strawberry and apple, some citrus, and complexity. Dry with a satin, creamy mousse texture; the acidity adds intensity and highlights the apple and citrus flavours. The autolysis adds complexity, persistence, and deliciousness. A lovely wine with both flavour and freshness."
