The Syrah component was 80% destemmed and 20% whole bunch fermented, bringing a subtle herbal lift, and the wine is unfined, unfiltered and full of honest expression. A brooding, earthy savouriness with hints of fresh herbs leads into layers of blackberry, dark cherry and pepper.
